You can use FishPig free Magento extension. This is very easy to use. There is no need to modify any core files and you can use either the same database or different databases.

These are the steps to integrate WordPress inside Magento:

  • Create new empty MySQL database for WordPress.
  • Download WordPress and install it as normal way.
  • Get the FishPig WordPress integration extension key. You have to copy the key.
  • Then go to Magento backend, Magento connect manager and place the copied extension key and install it.
  • After successful installation, return to admin panel, then you can see a “WordPress” tab is there.
